McAlpine left the police department and headed toward the fire station without paying for his vehicle to be unlocked. A caller advised that a tree was down on Washington at Church. A caller on W. Washington said she had a shoplifter in her store. A caller said that his wife drove his vehicle from Michigan to Navasota and sold the vehicle in Navasota without his permission. A caller on E. Blackshear said that there was a snake in the road. Suspicious activity was reported on E. Washington. A caller on Brewer said that her husband was at her residence and would not leave. A caller reported that a truck was speeding and driving recklessly on S.H. 105. A caller on C.R. 446 said that there was a car on fire outside of her house and she was scared that it was going to spread to the house.
