Aggie Muster ceremony in Navasota this Monday Friends, family and former students of Texas A&M University will assemble in Navasota on April 21 for an Aggie tradition that is well over 100 years old - the annual Texas Aggie Muster. Musters will be held around the world, wherever Aggies live or work, in over 350 locations. The Navasota Muster activities, which will consist of a social hour, dinner and guest speaker Mike Ricke, will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the August Horse Pavilion next to the Navasota Municipal Golf Course. Muster is open to all former students and their families, parents of students and friends of Texas A&M. At Muster, Texas Aggies pay their respects to all those who are absent because of death since the last Muster. When the names of the honored dead are called from the Muster Roll, a friend of family member of the deceased answers, “Here” symbolizing that their memory lives on in the hearts of Aggies everywhere.
