Navasota Mudcats gain additional victories at area meets

The Navasota Mudcats swim team posted its second win, making it two weeks in a row they have brought home a title.

In the team standings, the Mudcats scored 299 points and the Giddings L-Cats finished with 200 points on June 7. In the June 14 meet in Navasota, it was the Mudcats 283, Bryan.

The Mudcats will wrap up their 2008 season here in Navasota on June 21 hosting the 2008 Divisional Meet.

Navasota will host Bryan, College Station, Brenham, Huntsville and Giddings with a combined total of over 600 swimmers in their division. The meet will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Navasota City Pool.
