Vandalized county road signs pose danger for 911 calls The ongoing problem of disappearing county road signs, combined with the lack of mandatory posting of 911 addresses near roadways, is costing the county more than just dollars and cents. The combination also poses a danger as it slows down response times for emergency fire, police and medical calls.
