We hope that 2012 has gotten off to a good start for all of you. Our ornament auction was a great success over the holidays and added $150 to the Friends of the Library account. It will be a great help for the summer reading program.

• Speaking of the summer reading program, we are already planning and getting excited for this program. The theme this year is, "Get a Clue!"

Mark your calendars for June 4, 11, 18 and 25; and July 2 and 9. It will be extra special this year.

We will be going to training in February to learn new and fun ideas.

• Remember, the library has most of the Income Tax forms in. That time will be here before you know it. Come get yours before they are gone.

• Please bring children to the library, Monday, Feb. 13, as we will be making homemade valentines. Get ready to glue, sprinkle and paste!

• We will have a wonderful exhibit for Black History month in February. Don't forget to look at the showcase on your left, as you come into the library. On Feb. 24, the staff will dress in African attire to celebrate. Come join the fun.

Welcome to the discussion.

These kind of auctions take place often when it comes to old, vintage and damage houses. The realtors in Louisville can earn a lot of money if they pay attention to the real estate market. Sometimes these houses are sold at a higher price and sometimes they are sold too cheap to make a profit.
