Thanks to everyone who attended the Veteran’s Day parade Saturday, Nov. 9. Kohen and I hung out with Larry Eickenhorst and waved our flags. The manager at Classic Rock, Scott, took pictures for me and when Kohen gave him a star from a flag, he wanted a copy of the photo. He placed it on the Classic Rock Facebook page. Later, a lady put a picture of Kohen, me and Larry on the site, too. Kohen passed out stars in Classic Rock and we met a couple from Los Angeles who were in town for a wedding. Good day for us.

The Plantersville-Stoneham Bunch will hold their annual 20 Guns for $20 at the Grimes County Expo Center, Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m. Events include a ribeye steak dinner for $25, auction, bucket drawings and gun raffle. Halloween was a good night for children of White Hall. They played games, colored pictures, showed off their costumes, took pictures and got candy! White Hall Grocery, White Hall Café and White Hall Community VFD all participated in the fun. There were many parents who trust the people of this community enough to bring their children to have fun which makes me happy.
