The Grimes County Mobile Food Bank will be open Thursday, Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the back parking lot of the Grimes County Fairgrounds in Navasota. Any resident of Grimes County will be served and will only need to show their driver’s license when they complete the once–a–year Client Assistant Intake form. Read moreOct. 25 and 26 are sad days for my family because my parents passed away those days, 16 years apart. But Friday, my spirits were high because I had visitors from Puerto Rico. Both are named Jose, and they were joined by family. I met Jose (Tito) when he applied to TAMU. We lost his admissions application but eventually found it and have been friends since. The laughter, hugs, smiles and memories made my entire weekend.
