They also toured the beautiful, historic Grimes County Courthouse and Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site. The Confederate Memorial Plaza was created 23 years ago by the SCV Grimes County Greys Camp 924.

Grimes County Lieutenant John Jones said officers responded to the 7000 block of FM 3090 in Anderson around 11:03 p.m. April 6. Jones said it appears the teenager was handling a 9mm handgun when it discharged striking him in the chest.
