Navasota Police Department raised $600 during their annual ‘No Razor November’ campaign. Officers and other City of Navasota employees pay to grow a mustache or beard and donate the money to a worthy cause. This year the money was donated to 5-year-old Gabriel Goode, who is battling hepatoblastoma, a rare liver cancer that attacks one in a million children. Gabriel has undergone several surgeries chemo and numerous blood transfusions. He recently returned to school. Funds raised will assist the family with medical bills. Gabriel is the son of Brittany and Preston Goode.
