Anderson-Shiro FFA seniors recently competed in Texas Farm Bureau's first ever AgVentures Challenge. Students were required to create an agricultural product, develop a marketing pitch and present it to a panel of judges. Avery Hulsman was one of six State winners in Texas and was awarded a $2,000 scholarship. Her product was a pregnancy patch, for cattle, that detects when a cow is bred.

Richardson eclipsed 1,000 points scoring for the Lady Rattlers, was Academic All District, 25-4A Co-MVP, All-Region and All-State.
