On Thursday, April 25, 2024 Claudia Fernandez Gurrola was called home to Heaven at the age of 89, where she passed peacefully at home in Shiro that sat upon the land her dad owned. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, with the rosary recited at 7 p.m., both at the funeral chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Anderson. Interment will follow in the family section of the Shiro Cemetery.
