Harley Stabler, 25, of Iola, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, in Plantersville as a result of a motorcycle accident. Visitation was from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Iola Missionary Baptist Church with the interment to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Doug Jones (friend of the family). Services are in the care of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Ethelee Mask Hubble, age 98 years, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2023 in Harris County, Texas. Up until May 22, 2023, she had led an active, healthy life. Ethelee Mask was born on September 14, 1924, in Grimes County to Charlie Edward Mask and Blanche Evess Johnson Mask. She had one sister, Gertrude, and three brothers, Crittenden, Robert, and Cecil. At the age of 10, Ethelee was baptized in Yarboro Lake by the pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church. This began her journey with her Lord.
