The Anderson-Shiro Owls are still working toward their first win under new head coach, James Glaspie. The Owls dropped their opening two games, an overtime thriller against Somerville, 61-47, and against a stout Houston Kashmere team, 45-89.

Katkoski signs to continue softball career

Navasota senior Callan Katkoski signed her National Letter of Intent Nov. 15, to continue her education and softball career at Central Christian College in Kansas. She plans to major in kinesiology and pursue a career in athletic training.
