Read moreANDERSON – Anderson-Shiro took the lead on a grand slam and flew into the playoffs with a 10-4 win over Coldspring-Oakhurst April 22.
The Lady Trojans won the first matchup the previous week by a narrow 5-4 decision. The Trojans attacked first with two runs in the opening inning. The Lady Owls split the deficit in half with a run in the bottom of the second. Jade Buchanan led off with a single to left field and advanced to second on an error. She advanced to third on Josey Imhoff’s groundout. Gabby Goudeau drove her in on a groundout to shortstop.
