Did you catch Gene Stapleton’s letter to the editor regarding Darrell Hall roadway issues? Please share your thoughts and suggestions on these issues. And please encourage your elected officials to help find workable solutions to these longstanding problems.

Thank you to everyone who joined us Saturday, at the Pit Stop Café, when Bedias came out to support “our mail carrier,” Roy Willis. Tina served her pulled pork sandwich plates and the community bid in a silent auction in support of the much-needed fundraiser. Roy has been serving Bedias area postal patrons for many years and now it is our chance to show our appreciation, and support, in turn.

The Bedias Women’s Club meets Thursday, Feb. 27, 2 p.m. at the Bedias Civic Center. Our February program will feature an update by Grimes County Commissioner Chad Mallett. All area women are encouraged to attend and participate in women’s club activities.
