The family of Adam and Tina Pasket threw them a big birthday bash Saturday, Aug. 27 at the KC Hall in Anderson to honor their milestone birthdays. Adam turned 90 on Aug. 17 and Tina turned 85 on Aug. 28. A delicious chicken fried steak dinner was served to nearly 200 family members and friends. A band led by Robert Herridge who used to play at Gilley’s and some members of the Brian Marshall Band provided music for listening and dancing pleasure. The party ended sweetly when Adam walked over in his walker to the bandstand to talk to the band. But while waiting for the last song to end he started two-stepping with his walker. His precious daughter and daughters-in-law joined in as well as wife Tina as they all danced in a circle. At the end of the song, Adam and Tina sweetly kissed each other – aww, what a love story they have lived!

Through their 66 years of marriage Adam and Tina had five boys and one daughter: Charlie (wife Debbie), Larry (wife Sherry), Michael (wife Lauren), Johnny (wife Mary), Ronnie (wife Debbie) and daughter Debbie. This lovely couple also has 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren with one (a little girl) on the way. Adam was a Houston fireman for 31 years and Tina was employed by American General Insurance for about 10 years until becoming a stay-at-home mom and working part-time at Penney’s while the kids were in school. Later she worked for her boys at C&M Machining for 11 years. Congratulations Adam and Tina.
