Iola Science Camp begins Aug. 6

There will be an Iola Science Camp Aug. 6, and 7 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. This camp is for children in grades first through fifth and is $50 per camper. All proceeds will be used to purchase science supplies for the high school science lab. Please make checks payable to Iola ISD. Payment is due on the first day of camp. Campers should bring a sack lunch each day to camp. Contact Krisha Goodney with any questions at kgoodney@iolaisd.net .

The third Annual Midnight Madness will be Aug. 4, at 8 p.m. Join in to support our boys as they begin the 2019 football season. Tailgating, silent auction, little bulldog signups, meet the coaches and players, cheerleaders, community fellowship and lots of fun.

There will be a ‘Lil Dawgs youth football camp Thursday, Aug. 1, from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. This one-day camp is free and available for children ages five to 12 and will take place at Iola Bulldog Stadium. You are invited to participate in the first-annual Iola Youth Football camp at Iola High School. Train with the Iola High School coaching staff using the most current exercises and techniques to develop skill and football knowledge. Meet and greet current and former players, coaches, parents and community members. If you have any questions, please contact head football coach Kerry Bramburg at kbramburg@iolaisd.net .

Cross Baptist Church will host VBS 2019. Bring your children for a fun-filled week discovering Jesus from Eternity Past to Eternity Future. VBS began Monday, July 29 and runs through Friday, Aug. 2, Monday 6:15 p.m. till 8:30 p.m. Ages pre-K thru sixth grade completed will be able to attend. Plan for your whole family to join Friday night for food and fun.
