Texas Farm Bureau is hosting a Forum on Solar Projects and Foreign Ownership of Agricultural Land on Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. The forum will be held in-person and via Zoom. Presenters will cover solar projects and tax abatements used by companies, as well as foreign ownership of ag land.

Navasota Farmer’s Market will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. There will also be a book signing by Brownyn Bowen.

The Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary in Navasota needs food trucks and vendors for its Festival of the Wolves Saturday, Oct 15, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 8227 CR 205 in Plantersville is hosting their 128th Annual Homecoming Bazaar Sunday, Sept. 4, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. There will be a live auction, must be registered to bid. Barbecue plates are $15. For more information call, 936-894-2223.
