Prayers to all those affected and the first responders responding to the wildfires in California.

St. Mary’s Gigantic annual fall rummage sale will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, from 7 a.m. till 3 p.m. at the church grounds in Plantersville. Admission for early bird shoppers is $5 from 7 a.m. till 9 a.m. Admission is free after 9 a.m.

The “No Bull Benefit” for Robert Dominguez and Lisa Welch will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Renn Gun Range on FM 1774. Whiskey Tango Bar will host the event from 1 p.m. till 7 p.m. There will be a live and silent auction, dinner plates for sale, games, music and more. The Renaissance Festival began Oct. 5 and runs through Dec. 1. Children get free admission on Sundays. Be careful in the traffic and around construction.

Veterans needing flu shots can get a free flu vaccine at Walgreens until March 31, 2020. To receive the free vaccine, veterans need to have their Veterans Health ID card and have one other form of ID.

The Plantersville-Stoneham Bunch annual fund-raiser will be held Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6:30 p.m. They are accepting donations, desserts, door prizes and items for auction. They also need volunteers. • Sock Drive for senior citizens. Donate two pair of socks or one package of socks. They may also be dropped off to the Grimes Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office, 203 Veterans Memorial, Navasota.

• There will be a Thanksgiving dinner at Golden Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation, 2100 Dove Crossing Lane, Nov. 1.

Bryan Downtown Festifall is Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. in historic downtown Bryan.
