Scholastic/Career Ambition: Become a Large Animal Veterinarian

Scholastic Honors: Advanced Placement Student; Extended Language for Spanish student; UIL Listening Skills medalist; 2019 FFA Area Officer election volunteer

Interesting Facts: I was part of a BOUNCE youth mission trip in Bartlesville, Oklahoma 2017 where we along with other churches from surrounding states helped to rebuild after tornadoes; With the same group we went on a youth mission trip after Hurricane Harvey to Houston 2018, there we repaired a Spanish church, and also a church camp that was destroyed by floods; Immediately following Harvey First Baptist Church youth group took a small day mission trip to clear homes, and help lift spirits for those affected. I have been a member of First Baptist Church of Navasota since I was in Kindergarten.

Legacy: I want to be known as the Grimes County Fair Queen who changed the way that people perceive teenagers. Although teens do not always portray themselves in the proper light, I want Grimes County, my peers, and The Grimes County Fair Association to reflect on my year of service as Fair Queen who proved that teenagers can make a huge difference in every community. I want to make others want to come into this organization and help others whenever possible.

Why I should be 2019 Grimes County Fair Queen: I would be a great Grimes County Fair Queen, as I possess the drive, speaking abilities, poise, and most importantly love for Grimes County. I have participated in this fair since I was 9 years old and will pass that love down to my nieces as they begin their show careers here. I am involved with school extracurricular, while still maintaining advanced placement classes. I hold my church and mission work to the highest standards, and will continue to represent Grimes County to the best of my abilities always.
