April 26-27

•There will be an open air revival at 6:30 p.m. nightly Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27, at 117 West Lee St. in Navasota. Apostle Brenda F. Taylor Phillips will be leading the services on Revelation 12:11.

April 28

•The Rev. Jim A. Nelms and Greater New Hope Baptist Church invited the public to the annual Family and Friends Program at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 28. The guest pastor and church will be Pastor Perry Harris of Fresh Start Ministries Brazos Valley. The special guest will be Dionne and Deliverance.

April 30- May 5

• The Greater First Missionary Baptist Church family invites the public to come celebrate the pastor and his wife’s sixth anniversary. The guest speaker for Tuesday, April 30, will be the Rev. Charlie Hall, pastor of Truevine Baptist Church in Navasota.

The speaker for Wednesday, May 1, will be the Rev. Gregory Baldwin, pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Navasota.

The speaker for Thursday, May 2, will be the Rev. Benjamin Martin, pastor of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Washington.

Nightly services will start at 7:30 p.m. The church is located at 904 W. Johnson St in Anderson. The anniversary message will be delivered at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5, by the Rev. F.N. Williams, pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Houston.

May 2

•Wake up, America, for the National Day of Prayer from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1530 E. Washington Ave. in Navasota. The church will be open for anyone wishing to drop in and “speak to God in His house.”

•First Baptist Church of Richards will have a National Day of Prayer at noon. The theme is“Love One Another” and lunch will be provided.

May 3

•There will be a Girls Night Out, an evening of encouragement, featuring New York Times best-selling author Melanie Shankle from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, at the First Baptist Church Navasota. Worship will be by Ashley Rush with a coffee bar and dessert to follow. Tickets are $20 per person or $15 per person for a group of 15 or more. June 5-7

•St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church in Magnolia is holding a revival 7 p.m. nightly Wednesday, June 5, through Friday, June 7.
