Messages Sought for Time Capsule Dedication

Navasota, Texas - Here is your chance to leave a message in the Time Capsule that will be dedicated at the Grimes County Courthouse 125th birthday celebration on June 15. What do you think will be different in 25 years, when the time capsule will be unearthed and opened during the Courthouse 150-year celebration? Submit your thoughts in an email to gccourthouse@yahoo.com . Include your name, the city where you live, and your age. Your comments may be printed in a special Navasota Examiner newspaper insert that will be included in the time capsule. Other treasured items will be placed in the time capsule that will help paint a picture of what life in Grimes County is like in present-day. The time capsule will be opened on the Courthouse 150th Birthday in 2044.
