Justice, podcaster Ken Wise shares tales of Texas with GCRW

The Grimes County Republican Women’s featured speaker for Nov. 19 will be Ken Wise, Justice on the 14th Court of Appeals. Wise is also the voice behind the podcast, “Wise About Texas,” in which he recounts exciting stories from Texas history.

Wise is a native Houstonian who can trace his roots back to the Republic of Texas and has been an avid student of Texas history since his youth. He has a passion for the values that built Texas and preserving and promoting Texas is the foundation of his podcast.

As the guest speaker, Wise will share tales of Texas history as well as provide a look into the Court of Appeals.

Bring your favorite potluck dish and join GCRW at the Citizens State Bank meeting room Tuesday, Nov. 19 to give thanks for our freedom in this month of thanksgiving.

Doors open at 11 a.m. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the featured speaker and the monthly business meeting. Gentlemen are also welcomed to attend.
