Christmas Eve shooting reported at Magnolia Plaza

Navasota Police Chief Shawn Myatt confirmed that a shooting has occurred at Magnolia Plaza,700 Doris Street.

According to Myatt two victims have been shot. One victim is reportedly shot in the hand and the other was grazed by a bullet. Both victims have been transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Myatt stated this is an isolated incident and the public isn’t in danger. Police are actively pursuing the suspect.
