Navasota Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in the driver being air-lifted and three juveniles being transported to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.

Navasota Police Chief Shawn Myatt stated officers, firefighters and medics responded to the 6900 block of Texas State Highway 6 north for a one vehicle rollover. Police located a Ford Sport Utility Vehicle that had rolled down the grass median to the east toward the Brazos Valley Equine Center.

Myatt said the driver was ejected from the vehicle and was found unconscious. He said three juveniles were in the vehicle and found to be not restrained.

The driver, whose identity hasn’t been released, was air-lifted to CHI St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan and is listed in critical condition. All three juveniles were transported to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston with minor injuries.

Myatt said the crash investigation is ongoing and further details will be released as they become available.
