The Examiner is hosting a candidate forum in the Navasota City Council Chambers, with a date and time to be announced. Invitations have been sent to candidates for Navasota City Council Place #5 and Navasota ISD Board of Trustee Position #5. The forum will be streamed live on The Examiner Facebook page.

Patty Tokoly and James D. Harris are both running for Navasota City Council Place #5. Incumbent Grant Holt is not seeking reelection. Incumbent Amy Jarvis is being opposed by Mark Gremillion for Navasota ISD Board of Trustee Position #5.

Submit candidate forum questions via email to ana.cosino@navasotaexaminer.com or in person at The Examiner, 115 Railroad Street in Navasota, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The Examiner will attempt to ask all questions, but some questions may not be read due to time constraints.
