The Examiner staff successfully produced and delivered the Grimes County Winter Sports Program (GCWSP) to schools last week.

The program is a 48-page full-colored pamphlet-size program that included all our county schools (Navasota, Anderson-Shiro, Iola, Richards) and featured basketball, soccer and powerlifting teams.

Head coaches from each team were featured with a personal bio. Varsity rosters featured headshots for each player and junior-varsity and freshman team photos were also included with schedules for each team.

Local businesses that purchased a sponsorship advertisement in the GCWSP allowed The Examiner to produce and print the program for local schools free of charge to school districts.

The programs were a success and The Examiner has been asked to produce a Grimes County Spring Sports Program (GCSSP) that will once again feature all Grimes County Schools. Sports covered in the GCSSP will be baseball, softball, golf, tennis and track and field.

In addition to business advertising, the GCSSP will also feature personalized parent ads like those in the Navasota Fall Sports Program and Graduation Tab produced by The Examiner.

Help The Examiner continue to produce outstanding products for our students by securing your ad in the 2020 GCSSP.
