Fall prevention awareness

Grimes County Health Resource Center is hosting a Fall Prevention Awareness presentation Thursday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m.

The event will be held at Buckingham Gardens, 209 Buckingham Ln, in Navasota.

Attendees will be taught fall prevention tips, how to identify fall hazards in the home and a demonstration will show how to safely get up after a fall.

Breakfast will be provided, and door prizes will be given away. Make reservations by calling, 936-870-4575.
