ANDERSON- The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is looking for the public’s assistance to help return 16-year old runaway Jacob Brown home.

According to Lieutenant James Ellis, Brown, an Anderson-Shiro student, voluntarily left his residence Thursday, Feb. 13. Brown is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 205 pounds, brown hair and hazel eyes. He was possibly wearing black pants and a black hoodie when he left home.

Ellis stated Brown’s mother was in contact with him until recently. Brown’s mother said he is coming home Friday, but Ellis said with him being a juvenile they are attempting to get him returned home sooner rather than later. Ellis said it is believed Brown is with his girlfriend in the Spring area.
