Grimes County residents gleefully welcomed snow in the area Sunday, Jan. 10. An avalanche of social media posts spread joy with everyone anxious to show off natures wonder that rarely visits Grimes County. Although most enjoyed the winter wonderland from home, law enforcement responded to many traffic calls from pedestrians that were unable to navigate the icy roadways.
