COLLEGE STATION- A Navasota woman is accused of stealing close to $4,000 in merchandise from Victoria’s Secret inside Post Oak Mall in College Station.

College Station Police responded to reports of theft Wednesday, Nov. 6, a little after 8 p.m. According to reports, Skylett Duffie, 19, was witnessed by one of the store’s employees placing several items into bags and running out of the store.

An employee working at a kiosk notified mall security and police stated the security guards followed a trail of stolen merchandise out of the mall and into the parking lot. The guard reported seeing three females enter a car and flee the scene.

Investigators watched surveillance video and identified Duffie as one of the suspects caught on camera. Stolen items included nearly $2,000 in bottoms, $1,600 in tops and nearly $400 in bras.

Duffie was arrested and transported to the Brazos County Jail. Her bond held is $20,000 in connection with the theft. She also faces previous charges and has an additional $15,000 bond bringing the total bond to $35,000.
