Texas History Center ground breaking

Mary Grace Mock, member of the Zuber-Hadley Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, is pictured with grand-daughter, Laura Malek, at the ground-breaking ceremony held Friday, Nov. 15, for the Republic of Texas History Center in Austin. Malek is employed by the Bartlett Cocke General Contractors – Central Texas Regions who will build the museum. It will feature instructive acknowledgements from the birth of the Texas Republic to the present day.
