Two Rivers Heritage Foundation is pleased to announce their second book is now available from TRF or on Amazon.

“Sandbar II Histories” follows the first publication, “Sandbar Histories” and contains short stories about the rich and diverse cultural heritage. Area artist and publisher Rebecca Dias, Paper and Seed Publishing produced the book.

Betty Dunn, Vice Chairman of Two Rivers Heritage Foundation, is the primary author of the stories, which are printed in the Navasota Examiner. Carolyn Warren Besselieu and Mavis Anderson are also contributors. Each story will stir your memory or fill your need for earlier historic detail, or both. The original “Sandbar Histories” book is still available for only $20 and supplies are limited but hopefully it will soon be available on Amazon as well.

You can purchase a copy on Amazon or from Two Rivers Heritage Foundation at one of their history mixers. These history mixers are on the first and third Tuesday of every month at New Hope Church, 2159 Highway 105, just a couple of blocks east of Highway 6. Social time with refreshments starts at 5:15 PM and interesting speakers speak on topics such as local history, cemetery preservation, local government, art, and more. Everyone is welcome.
