True Blue Scholarship applications open

Applications are open for the Grimes County True Blue Foundation scholarship. 

 

Seniors graduating from a Grimes County high school with plans to attend college and obtain a degree in a law-enforcement-related field or enrolling in a law enforcement academy are eligible to apply. Children or stepchildren of a Grimes County Law Enforcement Officer or Grimes County First Responder are also eligible to apply.

 

This is the second year of the scholarship. Scholarships of $2,500 each were awarded in 2022 to Kendall Fiaschetti of Anderson-Shiro High School and Emmora Cooper of Iola High School.  

 

Applicants must show proof of enrollment to college, university or trade school and must meet minimum academic requirements. All applications must be submitted to Grimes County True Blue by Friday, May 6, Applications are available at https://grimescountytrueblue.org/.
