ANNA CREAGOR SPRINGFIELD 1932 – 2022

Anna Creagor Springfield, 89, of Navasota, passed away October 3, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in College Station. Visitation was held Friday, October 7, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services was held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Nobles Funeral Chapel with Dr. Clark Springfield officiating. Interment followed Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Anna was born in Navasota, Texas on November 21, 1932, to George “Buddy” Creagor and Dymple Carll. She met and later married her husband, Henry Clark Springfield following high school. To this union, four children were born: Clark, Jo, Jo Anna, and Martha. Anna enjoyed spending quality time with her family and absolutely loved playing dominoes, a 42 player to be exact!

Anna was preceded in death by both her parents, George and Dymple; her husband, Henry; siblings, James Creagor and Dolly Creagor Olden; niece, Dixie Olden Tracy; and grandson, Charlie Werchan III.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Dr. Clark Springfield and wife Rose, Jo Whitehurst and husband Fred, Jo Anna Moreland and husband Richard, and Martha Werchan; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Robert Olden, Luther Olden, John Olden, John Shine, and Walt Gregory.
