Danny Kohring, 71, of Navasota, died Friday afternoon, May 27, 2022, at Huntsville Memorial Hospital.

Calling hours will be held from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will follow from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home with Brother Tanner Choppy officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Russell Kohring, Michael Kohring, Randall Kohring, Timothy Klussmann, Lance Searle, T.J. Martinez, Craig Boggan and Rallin Wellmann.

Danny was born February 2, 1951 in Brenham to Robert and Anita Schroeder Kohring. It was on May 11, 1974 that he married Connie Jo Worbington at Trinity Lutheran Church in Navasota. Danny was a Master Plumber having worked over the years with Worbington Plumbing, Chenault Plumbing and Brutus Plumbing. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his wife Connie Worbington Kohring; his parents, Robert and Anita Kohring; father-in-law, Don Worbington, Sr., sister, Ruth Kohring; brothers, Robert Wayne and Bobby Ray Kohring and brothers-in-law, Vernon Klussman, Joe Martinez, Jr. and Robert Searle.

Survivors include his daughter, Julie Anne Kohring Bolding and husband Chris and their children, Cole and Jordan Bolding, all of Richards; mother-in-law, Betty Worbington Burkhalter of Bryan; brothers, Jerry Kohring and wife Doris of Brenham and Valgene Kohring and wife Diana of Washington; sisters, Sandra Searle of Washington, Marilyn Klussmann, Kathryn Martinez, Diane Boggan and husband Chuck and Rebecca Wellman and husband Ray, all of Brenham; Sisters-in-law, Pat and Barbara Kohring, both of Brenham and Vici Worbington Brackman and husband Mike of Cook’s Point and brother-in-law, Don Worbington, Jr. and wife Carey of Navasota along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
