RUSSELL EUGENE SNOW 1967 – 2022

Russell Eugene Snow, 55, of Navasota, passed away Thursday, October 27, at his home surrounded by his family. Visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday, November 1, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Nobles Funeral Chapel with a parish rosary following at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, at Nobles Funeral Chapel with Min. Joey Carmouche officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Russell, affectionately known as Russ, was born in Bakersfield, California, on July 13, 1967, to Ronald Eugene Snow and Jacqueline Morton Snow. He moved to Texas at three months old and graduated from Ellison High School in Killeen, Texas. Russ moved to Navasota in 1990, where he met Becky and built a life with her for 34 years. They share three children and their spouses, Devin and Andrea Snow, Dylan and Fani Snow, and daughter Emily Snow. They also share five grandchildren, Shelby and Colton Foxworth, Natalee Snow, Rylan Snow, and Adalyn Snow. 

Russell spent most of his time with family – riding four wheelers, fishing, and hunting. He worked at Elwood Texas Forge Navasota for over 20 years and was well known for his famous homemade sausage. Russ was fun, loving, and entertaining and will be deeply missed by family, friends and community.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, children, grandchildren; two brothers, Gary and Liz Snow and Greg and Kim Snow, two sisters-in-law; Monica Suarez & Elva Evans; and mother-in-law, Martha Suarez.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Morton Snow, and grandparents Orville (Pete) & Mildred Snow and Jim & Ida Morton.

Pallbearers are Michael Dobyanski and Paul Burzynski and his brothers-in-law, Jimbo Evans, Mike Thomas, Hector Suarez, Chris Suarez, Bobby Suarez, and Kenny Suarez.
