Susan Lanette Hutchins Kimich, 60, of Plantersville, died Friday evening, July 16, 2021, at her home.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11323 County Road 304, in Stoneham. A parish rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass celebrating her life will take place 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Edward C. Kucera, Jr. as the celebrant. The rite of committal will follow in St. Joseph Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Kimich, Robert Kimich, Robbie Kimich, Jacob LeRoy, Michael Blunt, Robert Littlefair, Christian Moreno and Ethan Hays

Susan was born December 8, 1960 in Houston to Howard Nelson and Ethel Allison Rutherford Hutchins. A resident of Plantersville for the past 35 years, Susan was housewife and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed her flower garden and shopping, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Gary Hutchins, Sheryl Hutchins, Brenda Moreno, Howard Glen Hutchins, Ronnie Nelson Hutchins and Jason Wade Hutchins; he father-in-law, Leon Kimich; brother-in-law Thomas Kimich and a granddaughter, Courtney Ann Pritchard.

Survivors include her husband Dean Kimich of Plantersville; a son, Jimmy Kimich of Plantersville; a daughter, Sarah Kimich and fiancé Ethan Hays of Conroe; sisters, Jennifer Le-Roy of Cold Springs and Tina Rosales of Victoria; grandchildren, Laurie Kimich, Nevaeh Hays and Cody Pritchard; mother-in-law, Anna Kimich of Houston; sisters-in-law, Beverly Kimich of Houston and Cynthia Kimich of Plantersville; brother-in-law Robert Kimich and wife Patricia of Plantersville along with numerous other relatives and a great number of friends.
