The Grimes County Republican Women’s featured speaker for July 16 will be Jonathan Hernandez. Hernandez will share his thoughts and experiences from his perspective as one of America’s youngest and most controversial voting p o p u - lations, the Generation Z and Millennial voters.

Hernandez just recently received his high school diploma from Harmony School of Advancement where he served as class president since his sophomore year, was a member of the National Honor Society, a varsity debater, and part of the anti-bullying club known as ALPHAS. Jonathan will be attending Oklahoma Christian University this fall to major in Political Science and minor in Spanish.

Hernandez is the Latinos for Trump Millennial Director and a member of the Faith and Freedom Coalition.

A young man with goals, Hernandez looks forward to becoming the Vice President of the Oklahoma Christian Republican Club this fall, serving as a board member on Oklahoma Teens for Life, and interning at South Walker Church of Christ as the Spanish urban minister focused on attracting the Hispanic community to the church.

Ultimately, Hernandez plans to work in the 2020 Trump campaign at the grassroots level and vote for President Trump. On a personal level, he aspires to run and win some type of political office in Texas in the near future.

The GCRW believe in the Republican philosophy that the right of the individual to achieve the best that is within him, as long as he respects the rights of others, is the source of our Nation’s strength and that equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity belong to all, regardless of race, creed, age, sex or national origin.
