    Keldrin Walter, 30, of Navasota, was arrested Tuesday morning after leading local law enforcement on a multi-county pursuit and manhunt that begun Monday afternoon. Glenn Chatman, 25, and Courtlynn Harris, 27, both of Navasota, had been arrested Monday night for the same incident.

Smith Hotel building will be transformed into the new Smith Hotel, reflecting the spirit of its predecessor but with modern day amenities.

    David Cruz, 30, of Navasota, was sentenced to eight years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Division for convictions stemming from the Feb. 14, 2018, burglary and criminal mischief of multiple buildings in downtown Navasota.
