The path to the postseason isn’t easy for the Richards High School boys’ basketball team. The Panthers entered the Jan. 25 week third in the 1A Region IV District 29 standings with North Zulch on their heels. With an overall 15-3 record, they were 5-2 in the district, trailing Calvert and Dime Box, respectively, according to Justin Bane, Richards athletic director and boys basketball coach.
