Bridget Coronado, daughter of Paul and Cynthia Coronado, is the elementary PE teacher in Anderson. One of her goals is to teach her pre-K children how to ride a bike but needs a few more children’s bikes to accomplish this goal. Bridget has 10 sets of knee/wrist/elbow pads on order but would like to also add some helmets to her supplies. She is asking for six children’s bikes for ages 4 and 5-year olds and at least 10 helmets. If anyone would like to help her out by donating these items, please call the elementary school, 936-873-4525.

I’ve known Bridget all her life and I know growing up riding bikes was a favorite pastime for her. It seems these days with all the computers and technology, children don’t get outside to do stuff like that anymore, so I’m not surprised that this sweet young lady has a mission to have these children experience the fun she had growing up. Hats off to you, Miss Bridget!
