The location for Treats on the Streets in Navasota has changed to the Veterans of Foreign War hall Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. due to the rain chances.

Thursday, Oct. 31, a fun time is planned at Plantersville Baptist Church from 7 p.m. till 9 p.m. Children ages 2-12 are invited for games, a pinata, bounce house, lots of candy, a costume contest and much more. St. Mary’s Gigantic annual fall rummage sale will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, from 7 a.m. till 3 p.m. at the church grounds in Plantersville. Admission for early bird shoppers is $5 from 7 a.m. till 9 p.m. Admission is free after 9 p.m.

The “No Bull Benefit” for Robert Dominguez and Lisa Welch will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Renn Gun Range on FM 17774. Whiskey Tango Bar will host the event from 1 p.m. till 7 p.m. There will be a live and silent auction, dinner plates for sale, games, music and more. The Renaissance Festival began Oct. 5 and runs through Dec. 1. Children get free admission on Sundays. Be careful in the traffic and around construction.

Veterans needing flu shots can get a free flu vaccine at Walgreens until March 31, 2020. To receive the free vaccine, veterans need to have their Veterans Health ID card and have one other form of ID.
