The Iola Band Christmas concert will be Dec. 12 in the high school gym from 6:30 p.m. till 7 p.m. This is a wonderful chance to see all the hard work the band has been putting in this year. The concert is for everyone in band from fifth grade through seniors in high school.

Cross Baptist Youth will be hosting a parent’s day out Dec. 14, for 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. This is for infants through fifth grade and will be eight fun filled hours for your kiddos. Please bring a sack lunch for each child. Cross Baptist Youth will provide a morning and afternoon snack. All proceeds go toward helping youth workers attend church camp. You can make checks payable to Cross Baptist Church.

Varsity boys’ basketball will have a tournament Friday and Saturday. The tournament will be in Fayetteville.

Junior varsity will host a shootout in Iola Saturday.
