The Celebration of Life for Allan Stafford was a wonderful tribute to him. Several VFW members ventured to White Hall to attend.

Little Man went to church with me on Sunday. He tickles me because he waves to everyone. His buddy, Jim Britt, took him into church and I was invited to sit with them. That little boy stayed busy, but he was quiet. Being that he loves to color and look at books, he was having a great time with the bag of goodies the church offers. His birthday was Aug. 29, and he is now two years old. It doesn’t seem like he should already have another birthday. Since he wasn’t home during the evening hours of his special day, there was a small hot dog party for him Sunday.

Pastor Christians attempted to hold him in front of the congregation as they sang the special birthday song but that didn’t last long. I wasn’t able to attend the special first year appreciation gathering for Pastor, but it appeared that most everyone in church stayed to show respects and appreciation.

It sure was good to see Mrs. Bauer in church Sunday. She had that big smile, as she always does. Shawn Welch was also present. He seems to be doing great.

Don from Whitehall Icehouse and Café is hiring at his restaurant. He needs part-time counter help and a dishwasher. If you are interested, contact him via phone, 346-377-5654.
