Plantersville 2023-2024 budget hearing Nov. 20

City of Plantersville will host a proposed budget public hearing Nov. 20, at 6 p.m.

The Texas Renaissance Festival is nearing the end of the season. The final two weeks feature Highland Fling Nov. 18-19 and Celtic Christmas Nov. 24-26.

City of Navasota’s Home for the Holidays event is Saturday, Dec. 9. The festivities include a Farmers Market, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., photos with Santa, 1-5 p.m., children’s Christmas fun, 1-5 p.m., Christmas parade, 6 p.m. and the City Hall tree lighting after the parade.

The Charm & Sewing 4-H Club pajama drive (baby to young adult) continues through Dec. 15. Make arrangements to drop off pajamas with Kaila Bonilla, 832489-9405, or email, hlashantra@yahoo.com. The KBTX Food for Families Food Drive is Wednesday, Dec. 6. Donations will be accepted in Grimes County at Midsouth Electric in Navasota.

Historic Downtown Navasota presents their fourth annual holiday sip and shop Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Citywide Mission, Inc., a fellowship of churches and sponsors present their annual community Thanksgiving Feast Saturday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Progressive Outreach Center, 615 W. The city of Plantersville’s annual Christmas Parade is Saturday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m. Parade route begins at the Plantersville- Stoneham Fire Department. The annual community Christmas party will follow.
