Bedias Women’s Club meets tomorrow

The Bedias Women’s Club will meet tomorrow, Thursday, April 25, at 2 p.m. at the Bedias Civic Center. All Bedias area women are encouraged to attend and participate in all women’s club activities.

Mackie asks us to share that the Bedias Women’s Club, on April 25, will be having a tea party at our regular meeting. This will be in the tradition of the English High Tea.

Women are encouraged to wear a hat and even gloves if they have them. We will be having tea in elegant tea cups and enjoying tea sandwiches, tea cookies and scones. Please join us for a bit of fun. You do not have to be a member and we would like for all women to come. If you have any questions, please call Mackie Bobo-White at 936-355-0642.

Grimes County Tax Assessor-collector, Mary Ann Waters, asks us to share

that, the GC Tax Assessor-collector’s office will now be accepting Boat and Motor transactions as of April 5, 2019. Anyone from any county can come into our office to have their boat registration renewed or to transfer ownership of that boat and motor. Please contact maryann. waters@grimescountytexas.gov, or 936-873-4465, with any questions.

We have been offering refreshing and uplifting Christian films at Faith Outreach Christian Center, in Navasota for a little over one year, our next film “Indivisible,” will be shared on a special date, Sunday, May 19, at 5 p.m. Please plan to join us and please encourage your friends and neighbors to attend with you and your family.
