Chamber welcomes Creative Minds Childcare

The Navasota Grimes County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting Sat., Nov. 2, for the new Creative Minds Childcare, located at 110 Brewer Street in Navasota. An open house and tours of the facility were held following the ceremony. Guests were able to meet and greet the staff and learn more about the facility, which occupies the space that many years ago was the site of the Navasota Public Library. Owner Brenda Meekins told the crowd that they are doing this because they “love the children of our community and we want them to be successful, and the first five years of their lives are very, very important.”
