Keyondrick Philio scored three touchdowns for the first time in a college game.

The University of the Incarnate Word running back had a 5-yard rushing score in the first quarter of a win over Abilene Christian. The Navasota High School graduate added 1-yard rushing touchdowns in the second and fourth quarters.

The junior finished with eight rushes for 29 yards.

Texas Southern University wide receiver Tren’Davian Dickson had four catches for 112 yards against Houston Baptist. The former Rattler had a 32-yard receiving touchdown.

Shelton Eppler completed 35 of 55 pass attempts for Northwestern State University of Louisiana against Southeastern Louisiana. The past Rattler threw for 333 yards, including touchdowns of 26, 19 and 17 yards, and was not intercepted.

Tarleton State University defensive lineman Jordan Wells made two tackles against University of Texas of the Permian Basin. He played for the Rattlers.

Iola High graduate Ryan Lawrence is a freshman defensive lineman for Kansas Wesleyan University.

Ray Smith is no longer playing for Texas Lutheran University. The Anderson-Shiro High graduate had 35 tackles and three and a half sacks in 10 games as a sophomore defensive lineman last year.

Jay Jones is no longer on the Blinn College roster. The Navasota product was a freshman running back.

Men’s rodeo

Anderson-Shiro graduate Paden Hurst finished third in bareback riding at a Stephen-ville event and earned $1,227.
