Boys Scout Troop 361 hosted a game design and leather craft day May 13, for its members. Navasota Police Officer, Kyle Fritz, and his Dungeons and Dragons Crew members led the game which allowed scouts to work on focused behavior, cooperate with players of all ages and skill sets, practice problem-solving skills, taking leadership roles, practicing risk assessment and applying math and science knowledge. Abigail Mahan helped the scouts design their own leather dice trays they could use in future D&D game quests. They learned to cut leather squares, apply fasteners, use basic leather tools including a hole punch, mallets, grommet application tools and a heat press.
